I've often found the bible to be boring and the stories irrelevant to my personal struggles. As a result I've always searched for new ways of discovering biblical truths.
Reading the bible is good but sometimes as humans we need something to accompany it. Over the years I've come across people, books, tv programmes and even music that helped me to understand the bible. Out of my searching I found God to be relevant and have had the experience of him speaking to me through these various media.
I've found the bible to true, if you seek you will find (Matt.7:7). God is not limited and can speak to us using any medium, he used a donkey to speak to Ballam (Num.22:28).
If you desire to hear God you have to be willing to turn off the noise and listen!
